Here at Early Steps Dudley we are offering a more stress free alternative of the standard 15 & 30 hours, term-time only for 38 weeks, by stretching the same hours to last all year round. You can also add on additional hours too. See our current sessions and fees. This means no worrying about how you will cover childcare fees out of term time.

Funded Places
Our nursery accepts funding from the following:
15 hours from 9 months old (from September 2024)
15 Hours for 2 year olds
15 & 30 hours for 3 & 4 year olds
Subject to eligibility
Funded Early Learning for 2 Year Olds
This is funding for childcare sessions for 15 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (which we stretch all year round - see above) from the term after their 2nd birthday and is available to families who are accessing certain benefits and working families and meet the relevant criteria. It is not an entitlement for every 2 year old.
Funded Early Learning for 3 and 4 Year Olds (Nursery Education Funding)
All 3 and 4-year-olds in England already get 15 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (which we stretch all year round - see above) If parents are living and working in England, 3 and 4-year-olds may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare. An extra 570 hours of free childcare a year, so 1140 hours in total.
What Isn't Covered
The funded hours are not intended to cover the cost of providing meals, other consumables, sun cream, nappies, additional hours, additional activities such as trips out.
Charges will apply to all funded places.
